Jitneys (Same as Open Bowling, but played for
loonies and toonies)

Welcome to Burlington Lawn Bowling Club’s

Juniors/Minors Program

In bowling, a “Junior” is anyone between 18 and 25. A “Minor” is anyone under 18. (See www.OLBA.ca “Junior” page for qualification dates for competition)

BLBC’s Junior/Minor development program runs from May throughout the spring and summer.

Anyone can bowl. All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes to protect our greens, a hat to shield the sun and comfortable clothing. Bowls are available from the club. Later you may wish to buy your own bowls but don’t do that until you are sure of the size that suits you.

Junior/Minor membership is $30 a year, May-October.

 We have junior and senior champions and coaches to assist with training, and to get you into tournament action quickly.
